The short version
- Phravo only listens after you press Start, and only to the tab you choose.
- Audio is processed for transcription. No playback recording is saved by default.

Information and purpose
We process account details, the conversations you choose to capture, the knowledge you add and basic usage information — to run Phravo, keep it secure and support you.
You decide when capture starts
Capture begins only when you start a session. Pause stops both audio sources; muting your microphone affects only your voice; Stop ends the session.
Where information goes
Audio is sent to speech services for transcription, and relevant text to AI services to create suggestions. These providers act on our instructions and are listed by category below.
EU hosting and international transfers
Saved transcripts, notes and knowledge are hosted in European Union infrastructure. Some processing happens with subprocessors outside the EU — for example speech-to-text and AI models — and EU hosting doesn’t cover what they process or retain.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Business customers can request our Data Processing Addendum (GDPR Article 28).
Your knowledge base
Files you add are reference material for your own assistance. Phravo doesn’t use them to train its own models.
Connected apps
If you connect ChatGPT or Claude, they can read your meetings and files and save meeting briefs for you — never change or delete anything — until you revoke them. Every request they make is logged in your workspace.
Retention and deletion
Conversation history follows your plan: 30 days on Free, 12 months on Pro, and until you delete it on Team, Business and Enterprise. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days for active data and 90 days for backups.
